Avatar : Robert Downey Jr. ? Ou Jared Padalecki ? Averell serait plutôt un cow-boy solitaire. Auparavant, amoureux d'une indienne décédée, il ne parle plus à personne et vit dans son ranch, éloigné de tout. Il descend souvent en ville pour les vivres, mais peu de gens lui adressent réellement à la parole, depuis la mort de sa bien-aimée. Déjà, pendant leur romance, Franklin était mal vu par un bon nombre d'habitants qui rejetaient les indiens. D'ailleurs, sa belle fut assassinée. Serait-ce par un indien ou un habitant ? Son ranch a pourtant été l'une des seules habitations à être restée debout. Le rancher sera malheureusement obligé de sortir de sa solitude pour prêter main forte aux autres habitants. Après, tout dépendra de l'avatar choisi, comme ils sont tout de même assez différents.
